With all the talk about the Mega Dyson tailgate, you probably wondered how it came about. The idea of bringing together all the descendants of Isaac and Elizabeth started almost 6 years ago with a message on Ancestry.com.  How about that for a connection?

        and ............WHEW, what a time!          

        

The goal of the Mega Dyson  Tailgate Event was to bring together descendants of Isaac and Elizabeth Dyson’s offspring in a relaxed, fun setting and to share information about the ancestors. We experienced, first hand, how it must have been for our ancestors who had to labor in these hot, humid conditions. Those who attended (close to 400) enjoyed meeting and learning about their family. It was encouraging to have so many inquiries as to when the next Mega Dyson event will take place. 

We have to recognize several for the success of this event.  We extend a gracious THANK YOU to our Heavenly Father for making our dream a reality through his divine guidance.  Thanks to the spirits of the ancestors who had a hand in bringing us all together. To the griots of the family, thank you for willingly sharing family stories with us and thanks to those who are committed to passing these stories on to future Dyson generations.
